Welcome to KULT-online, the Interdisciplinary Review Journal for the Study of Culture
Through KULT-online, doctoral and postdoctoral students inform you on relevant new publications in the field of the study of culture.
In order to provide doctoral students with ample opportunities to publish and enhance their writing skills at a very early stage in their careers, the
International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) established its own interdisciplinary online review journal, KULT-online. The journal was launched in 2003 and, due to its great success and popularity, has become a model for other graduate publication media in Germany.
KULT-online appears
twice each semester and features
reviews of books published within the last two years, which are related to the study of culture. And of course, all doctoral and postdoctoral students are cordially invited to contribute! An
editorial board of professors from different faculties further guarantees the quality of the reviews.
If you are interested in becoming a reviewer, we would ask you to read our
style guide carefully.
Should you need ideas for books to review, have a look at our
KULT_bibliography, but we also encourage you to suggest other books published within the last two years.
Issue No. 35 of KULT-online will be published at the beginning of summer term 2013. The editorial deadline for this next issue is
May 1st, 2013.
KULT-online is a member of the
Association of Postgraduate Journals.
